Saprae Creek Estates offers residents the best of both worlds. Only a short 15-minute commute to Fort McMurray, the quiet, cosy hamlet is nestled in a stunning forest landscape. Saprae Creek offers great access to snowmobile and ATV trails and the Clearwater River.
The community is also home to some of the best non-mountain winter recreation in Alberta. Located just 25 kilometers southeast of Fort McMurray, Vista Ridge All Seasons Park offers a ski hill with eight meticulously groomed runs, a learning area, a terrain park for thrill seekers, and a tube park that’s accessible for all ages.
With runs ranging from easy to very difficult, Vista Ridge offers something to challenge all levels of skiers and snowboarders. It's a great place to learn the sport or tune up your turns before a trip to the Rockies. Set on the edge of a breathtaking river valley, the park also features some of the most spectacular winter sunsets to be found in the region.
Looking for some summer fun? Vista Ridge is open year-round and offers an aerial adventure park, skatepark, playscape, disc golf course, and a 12-hole family-oriented golf course in the summer months.
