Janvier

Known for its rich heritage and natural environment, Janvier is home to nearly 200 people, many of whom are members of the Chard Métis and Chipewyan Prairie Dene First Nation.

The hamlet is located on the shores of Bohn Lake, some 120 kilometres south of Fort McMurray. Bolstered by increased oil and gas activity in the area, the community is working together with industry to enhance the livelihood and well-being of the residents.
