Fort McMurray International Airport (YMM)
A world-class airport experience right here in FMWB.
Fort McMurray International Airport (YMM) currently offers non-stop flights from Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver on Air Canada and WestJet, with connections from many other cities. International air service is back at YMM in fall 2022 with a direct flight to Tucson, Arizona on Flair Airlines.
The state-of-the-art airport terminal was opened in 2014 as the existing terminal on the north side of the airport was over capacity.
Inside, you’ll find food and beverage options before and after the security checkpoint, including a full-service Earls that you can enjoy while waiting for your flight. A full list of airport services can be found here.
Did You Know? YMM Is Award-Winning
YMM was awarded by Airports Council International as one of the world’s best regional airports (under 2 million passengers per year) for customer experience in 2019.
The terminal building itself was awarded by Canadian Architect magazine in 2013 for the materials used and the modern design, including extensive use of energy saving materials making the YMM terminal sustainable even in our harsh northern climate.
