WBED Talks Place Branding at Momentum 2019

Wood Buffalo Economic Development (WBED) hosted its inaugural Momentum luncheon.

The goal of the luncheon was to help the community understand the agency’s priorities, some of the key considerations, and how they hope to tackle challenges by learning from previous approaches.

Key topics discussed this year included launching the region’s first place brand, a focus on attracting new retailers to the region, and how to restart conversations around the downtown revitalization without repeating mistakes of the past.
