2021 Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship Golf Tournament

The 34th annual Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship is coming to Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo August 24-27, 2021. At the tournament, Canada’s top male amateur golfers, aged 25 and over, will compete for a national title. The tournament will be played at the Fort McMurray Golf Club and will be the first national championship event hosted in the region since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020.

Mentorship Opportunity for Local Entrepreneurs

Startup YMM and Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association (NAABA) have partnered to launch a pilot mentorship program in the region and are currently seeking applications from entrepreneurs interested in being mentored. The pilot program, Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo – Venture Mentoring Services (FMWB-VMS) is based on a proven model developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (better known as MIT) which has over 100 sister programs across the world!
