BUSINESS RECOVERY TASK FORCE
FMWBEDT formed the Business Recovery Task Force with the support of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Council. It was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and expanded to include support for businesses affected by the 2020 Flood.
WHEN NATURAL DISASTER STRIKES, VISIT WB CENTRAL
We partnered with Community Futures Wood Buffalo (CFWB), Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce (FMCoC), Fort McMurray Construction Association (FMCA), and Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association (NAABA) to create a central business support portal.
WB Central curates all the COVID and Flood business resources in one location to help businesses navigate challenging times. The portal is the central source of information for all local programs and initiatives actioned by the Business Recovery Task Force.
